Nature Biennial 2024
|
|
FIAP have issued the details of the Nature Biennial to be arranged in 2024.
|
|
The IPF will make an entry to represent Ireland – as we have done in previous years.
|
We are now calling for all photographers to send us images which can be considered for inclusion in the panels to represent Ireland.
|
|
We are looking for images under two categories:
|
You may already have used this site before – so your previous login and password will work.
|
If this is your first time you will need to register. To do this click the “LOGIN” button and then click on the Light Blue “Register” button. You can then enter your details and wait for a confirmation email before you can upload your images. This confirmation email may take a while to arrive as it requires a human to approve it – and we do not have a full-time staff.
|
If you have forgotten your password you can reset it by clicking on the orange “Password Reset” button.
|
Once you are logged in click on the “Competitions” tab and on the “Competitions for..” link. This will contain your name. Under it you will see the FIAP Nature Biennial 2024 competition.

You will then see this screen:

The orange writing gives you the information about how you can upload your images.
|
Please note that there are size requirements. FIAP need the images to be 3,500 pixels on the longest side.
|
|
We would appreciate it if you could consider this request and pass it on to everyone you know who is interested in nature photography. The more images we have, the better the entry to represent Ireland.

Oasis Photo Contest

International Award of Wildlife Photography
|

|
|
The Oasis Photo Contest is based in Italy and is dedicated to wildlife and landscape photography. It is now in its 16th year. It is organised by the Oasis Magazine, the oldest and most important Italian magazine for Wildlife Photography.
|
|
Over the past number of years the Oasis Photo Contest has been established as one of the most important wildlife contests worldwide. The 16th edition has just been launched and is now open for submissions in the following categories:

· Naturalistic Journalism
|
The closing date for entries is 15th January 2024
|
And you can enter your images via this website.
|
|
This is a contest which is organised with FIAP auspices and is well worth supporting.
|
Please circulate this information to anyone you know who is interested in Wildlife Photography. It would be great to see an entry from the man Irish Photographers who are great Wildlife and Nature enthusiasts.
