This is a very exciting development – a new Distinction strand based entirely on the submission of Portfolios.
A number of photographers from the IPF submitted portfolios in time for the January deadline.
This was the first time for this new distinction to be assessed and awarded.
Congratulations go to 7 photographers from Ireland who were awarded the PFIAP distinction – the first of Portfolio distinctions.

The next round of applications will open on 1 May and close on 15 May.

Why not consider entering salons and preparing for the NFIAP or AFIAP distinction as a means of “pushing” yourself; of expanding your photography skills and of improving the quality of your images?
Applying for the Portfolio stream of distinctions will also help improve your skills and open up new projects for you to work towards.
