The Championship took place in Mullingar over the weekend of Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May 2026.
The mono panels were judged live in the Atrium Buildings, Mullingar, on Saturday, with the prize winners announced immediately afterwards. The colour panels were judged live on Sunday in what proved to be a very exciting competition, nail-biting right to the end.
This year, Drogheda Photographic Club pipped Catchlight Camera Club to the overall winning place, with Dublin Camera Club taking third. The top 10 clubs from the 25 competing clubs are set out below, and detailed results have issued directly to clubs.
The panels were judged by Anne Greiner MPAGB, Rod Wheelans MPAGB, MFIAP, FRPS, FIPF, HonPAGB, HonSPF, and Gordon Jenkins HonPAGB. The judges commented on the very high standard of work on show across the weekend.
The digital booklet shows all panels and award winners. The summary results table includes the individual mono and colour placements, together with the individual award winners.
The weekend was made possible by the IPF competitions team and the hard-working club volunteers who gave their time throughout the weekend — setting up, stewarding, handling prints, supporting the judging process, and keeping the event running smoothly.
