The Finals for the National Print and Projected Image Competition 2009/2010 will take place in the Athlone Institute of Technology on the 13th and 14th February 2010.
The weekend event will include two lectures on the Saturday by Mr. Nicolas Berlingieri, an expert in digital imaging.
The competition itself will take place on the Sunday, judged by three internationally renowned judges (see below).

Saturday: Workshops
10:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Enhancing your Images in Photoshop: The various tools up to and including adjustment layers.
2:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. The Application of HDR and Filter Plug-ins.
Cost of each session is €25.00. A reduced rate of €40.00 will apply if you wish to attend both sessions. Please note that these fees only apply to bookings made on or before Friday 8th January 2010, after which a late booking fee of €5.00 will apply to all fees. A discount of €5 off the €40 fee will be given to current IPF Distinction holders who book in advance. Each participant who books by 8th January 2010 will also receive a CD with notes on the lecture content.
Saturday Evening
Dinner followed by a lecture by Jackie Martin. This will be an ideal opportunity to meet and discuss photography with other amateur and experienced photographers. Details of venue, cost and menu will be available soon.
Sunday
The judging of the Finals of the Print and Projected Image competition will commence at 10:00 a.m. There will be no admission fee but we would ask that all visitors support the raffle to help defray the costs of the competition.
Lunch and snacks will be available in the AIT canteen on both days.
