Annual Fee
Annual Distinction Renewal Fees for 2014 are due for payment from 1st January 2014. Thank you to those to have renewed already and those who have already paid up for life with our lifetime membership option. For those of you who wish to renew now, please go to Distinction Renewal page and choose the option most appropriate for you.
Your Distinction Fee is directed exclusively towards supporting IPF competitions, lectures, distinction judging and other events, and is vital to the work done by members of clubs, regional committees, and the Federation’s officers and National Council members, all of whom provide their time and expertise for free.
Corrections/Errors
All distinction holders should have received email correspondence (or postal correspondence where email was not available) over the past few days. If you haven’t received this correspondence or have noticed any errors, please contact me (Bob Morrison) by choosing ‘Distinctions’ option on the form on our Contact page and our records will be updated.
New DVD Project – Distinction Holders’ Images
At every distinction session we see examples of outstanding photography that deserve more widespread acknowledgement. This has prompted us to look at ways of bringing distinction holders’ work to a wider audience. As a first step, we intend to produce DVD shows of distinction holders’ images for viewing in clubs.
We would be delighted if you would contribute one of your favourite images from your distinction panel to this project. Copyright, of course, will remain with you and your image will be used for this purpose only. Update: If you are unable to locate an image from your panel, you may submit another image instead.
We aim to produce the DVD by early May. You will receive a free copy of the DVD shortly after it is launched.
If you wish to participate, please go to Distinction Holder Invitation page, fill out the information requested there and upload your image. Please follow the directions on that page to guide you through the process with regard to image size and especially image title.
Distinction holders who have paid their 2014 subscription by 18th April will receive a free copy of the DVD.

Upcoming Distinction Sittings
The next distinction sitting takes place on May 17th at Mullingar Arts Centre, Co.Westmeath. All spaces for licentiateship and associateship distinctions have been filled for this sitting. Details of September and November sittings will be published in the coming weeks.
