IPF Nature Group Competition

The IPF Nature Group is delighted to announce that a projected image competition against the Northern Ireland Photographic Association (NIPA) has been arranged to take place in the lecture room of the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin, Dublin, at 2.00pm on Saturday 10^thNovember 2018. The judges will be Mark Sedgwick FIPF EFIAP ESFIAP and Margaret Welby, a prize winning professional wildlife photographer from the UK. They will provide verbal comments on the images on the day, so the event will be a useful learning experience for anyone interested in improving their nature photography skills. Medals and certificates will be awarded in respect of individual entries

Whilst entry to the competition is restricted to members of the Nature Group (to join go to http://irishphoto.ie/ipf-nature-group-update/ ) attendance at the competition is not, so we invite club members to come along and join us on the day. The Botanic Gardens has an excellent restaurant and a coffee shop. A visit to the gardens in the morning followed by lunch and the screening of the entries in the afternoon would make for a great day out for family and friends!
