The judges are Jill Bunting, CPAGB & John Smith, APAGB, CPAGB. We have entries in the Novice, Intermediate, Club & Advanced sections as well as 30 entries in the International section with entries from Ireland, North & South, England, Wales and South Africa.
The competition takes place in Aras Chronain Ionad Culturtha, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 on Saturday, 19th and Sunday, 20th October.
Doors open at 10 a.m., both days and judging commences at 10.30 a.m., following the welcome. Lunch will be available at the venue each day. Judging will continue on Saturday afternoon and finish at 5.00 p.m. A gala dinner will take place in the venue at 7.30 for 8.00 – bookings need to be made by lunch time on the Saturday. As with the Celtic Challenge, this is a great way of socialising with fellow photographers, judges and friends..
On Sunday, the rest of the international competition will be shown and judged, and following lunch at 1.45 p.m., the judges will show some of their sequences before the showing of the prize winners and presentation of the awards.
