To: Club Secretaries of all IPF Affiliated Clubs
Dear Club Officer,
For over a year now, a subcommittee from Council has been carrying out a much needed and overdue redrafting of our present constitution. This has been a prolonged and much considered process. I am most grateful to my working group colleagues – Bob Morrison, Sheamus O’Donoghue and Dom Reddin for their invaluable contribution toward bringing this document toward hopeful fruition. Council has considered the new constitution and has recommended it for approval.
As the IPF is still not in possession of a complete list of contact details of Affiliated Clubs, the only effective method of sending out this draft constitution is through this website. Please go through the document carefully for your consideration and debate. It is designed to protect your club and the federation into the future. Constructive feedback through your club officers would be very welcome. Please click here to email us.
It is planned that this new constitution be presented for approval at an Extraordinary General Meeting scheduled for Saturday Feb 22nd 2014 at Hotel Kilkenny, on the weekend of the National Print/Projected and Nature Finals in Kilkenny. Each club attending will have two delegates registered upon entry and one vote. Your club delegates will represent your views and opinions at the EGM.
In order for your club to attend this EGM, it’s annual affiliation fee must be currently paid up. Non payment of the annual affiliation fee by the date of the EGM will disqualify your club from attendance and voting at the EGM.
