The national finals of the IPF Nature Photographer of the Year 2015/2016 take place on Sunday February 21st at The Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny. This year, we are delighted to welcome back Mahers Photographic as sponsors of this event. They will be present on the day with a variety of photography equipment to demonstrate and we encourage you to take the opportunity to talk with them about all your photography needs and have a look at some of those gadgets on your wish list!
Judging will begin at 10am and will be carried will be carried out by two nature judges;
- David Osborne FRPS EFIAP BPE5
- Paul Keene FRPS MPAGB EFIAP/p MFIAP
For all the nature photographers out there, the high-scoring and award winning images are a feast for the eyes and watching the judging process is a great learning opportunity for those new to the genre. Please feel free to attend – judging is open to public viewing and is free of charge. The IPF have organised a lecture tour with Paul Keene after the competition – mark it in your diary!
All images in the final have qualified from regional qualifying rounds around the country and we wish all photographers the very best of luck.

The previous day, Saturday February 20th, the finals of the IPF Photographer of the Year Competition take place.
