The weekend got off to an excellent start with the lighting workshop by Ciaran Whyte and his team who had all the necessary equipment and visual aids set up ready to start on time. The afternoon session comprised of two very informative lectures by Rikki O’Neill FIPF,FRPS,MPAGB and Kevin Adlard FRPS,EFIAP who presented their images by projection and also displayed over one hundred mounted prints for viewing.
This was followed by dinner at 7.30 p.m. and a viewing of some of the top images from the Belgium Federation presented by Freddy Van Gilbergen EFIAP who is the FIAP Director of Distinctions. The feedback on all the days events was very positive and everyone relaxed over a few drinks in the evening making it both an educational and enjoyable social event.
On Sunday the judging commenced at 10a.m. with the projected images. Previewing of all the images by the three judges had taken place on the Saturday morning.
