PDF results file link for AV Championships isn’t the results, it’s the programme…
Hello Gerry,
I’ve tried to look at the results but the link doesn’t seem to work – it just leads to the “invitation” pdf.
Good wishes,
Malcolm
Hi Malcolm,
My mistake – should be corrected now, sorry about that
Gerry
Hi Gerry
Thanks for the update. It was great to see the results online, though of course I already knew them. Thanks to everyone involved for such an excellent weekend. I enjoyed every minute, especially the Saturday “evening of quiet contemplation” as Noel put it…. I will have to brush up my knowledge of traditional Irish songs ready for next time!
I was very impressed with the quality of the IPF section this year. I think that the best Irish authors should be looking to enter further afield.
Kindest Regards
Richard Brown (Judge)
Well done to all who participated and helped make this year’s competition such a success. Audio Visual is in a very healthy state in Ireland and there is a lot of new talent emerging. We have forged links with our fellow authors in NIPA and the RPS. Over the coming years we hope to reach out to other workers across the globe.
Next year will be an IPF only competition but we are looking forward to an increase in the entries as more workers are emerging from the shadows. Once you have attended an AV Festival and seen how friendly and cooperative the entrants and visitors are it is very hard to resist coming again.
Well done to all the winners hope you are proud of our achievements. To those who like me competed but were not mentioned in the awards remember there is always next year.
Hope to see many of you on the rounds during the coming year if not, see you all in Oct 2012 for another excellent weekend.
Best wishes
Alan Lyons
