IPF Photographer of the Year Competition (Entry is now closed)
The National Finals of the IPF Photographer of the Year Competition take place in February each year. The finals are a culmination of regional qualifying rounds from our five regions (SACC, Mid-East, Mid-West, and North-East). The regional qualifying rounds take place between November 1st and January 31st each year. This competition was previously known as the IPF National Print & Projected Image Competition.
This competition is for photographers, both amateur and professional, who are members of clubs affiliated to the Irish Photographic Federation. Its purpose is to allow these photographers showcase their work and compete with their peers and given the very high standard of work submitted, especially that of the award winners, it’s one of the highlights of the Irish Photography calendar. Each image is scored by three international judges. This is done live and open to the public and draws large crowds from all over the country each year.
Congratulations to those of you who have progressed from the regional rounds to the finals.
