Entries are now closed for the Irish Photographic Federation’s Photographer and Nature Photographer of the Year Competitions 2020. The next phase of the competition will be the regional rounds which will take place in January 2020.
Images scored nine or above out of fifteen by the three regional round judges will progress to the finals in Carlow in February 2020 sponsored by Canon Ireland, One Photographic, Explore Light Workshops and Camera Filters Ireland.
Details of the Regional Rounds are as follows;
The Mid East Region will be accepting print entries the week before their regional round (on the morning of the 4th January 2020, The Grand Hotel Malahide). The regional round will take place on the 11th of January 2020, The Grand Hotel Malahide will judging scheduled to begin at 10 am.
Judges for the Mid East regional rounds are:

The Mid West Regional Round will take place on 25th January 2020 in the Maldron Hotel, Portlaoise. Prints accepted on the morning from 9am. Judging is scheduled to begin at 10am.

The North East Regional Round will take place on 11th January 2020 in the Workhouse, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. Prints accepted on the morning from 9 am. Judging is scheduled to begin at 10 am.

The SACC will have print pick up points advertised before its Regional Round which takes place on the 25th January 2020 in the Horse and Jockey, Co. Tipperary. Judging is scheduled to begin at 10 am.
