Ireland has won a FIAP Silver Medal for coming third place in the 27th FIAP Colour Projected Images World Biennial held in Norway recently.
In the 27th FIAP Colour Print World Biennial, Ireland took 10th place and a FIAP Honourable Mention.
Congratulations to Morgan O Neill, FIPF, of Cork Camera Group whose image ‘Girl at Piano’ selected for the projected panel, won a FIAP silver. Congratulations to all involved, especially the photographers who had images selected to represent their country.

The projected competition was won by Russia on a score of 181 points, just one point ahead of England and eleven points ahead of Ireland on 170 points. In the print section, the winners were Italy on a score of 181 points. Ireland scored 153 points. Twenty countries took part in the projected section and 19 in print.
