Following the recent National Council meeting members are advised of the following:
1.{RND_WORD} online pokies From September 2013 sitting applicants must present a different body of work for each distinction level being sought. This means that none of your images used for your L can be used for an A application and similarly no images used for your L or A can be used in your Fellowship application.
2. Effective immediately no further distinction applications using traditional transparencies (slides) will be accepted.
Very interesting rule change. It perhaps is a rule that should have been in place from the start.
However we have a number of F and A’s who did use previous panel photographs in their higher level panel but no-one in future can. This some people might deem unfair especially given the cost associated with printing photographs. Still probably a better rule for the long run.
It does highlight an issue that creeping in is judges who have the qualifications starting to demand higher standards than were applied to them when they were putting forward panels.
This is a danger especially for L Panel candidates. What was good enough for an L-Panel 5 years ago should be good enough for an L Panel today. I would less object to higher standards required for A or F because equipment has improved.
