IPF Nature Competition – Regional Qualifying Rounds *updated*

Rules for 2013/2014 competition can be found here. Please also read this article for summary of important changes to the Nature Competition this year.

North West Region – February 8th 2014

The North West qualifying round of 2013/2014 IPF National Nature Competition takes place on Saturday, February 8th at Mill Park Hotel, Donegal . Further details to follow including link to online entry form.  Qualifying round for North West Print & Projected Image Competition takes place the same day (see this link for details).

Collection of Prints: 10.15am
Judging Commences: 11.00am

Mid West  Region – February 9th 2014

The North West qualifying round of 2013/2014 IPF National Nature Competition takes place on Sunday, February 9th at Mountmellick Arts Centre, Sarsfield Street, Mountmellick, Co. Laois. Qualifying round for North West Print & Projected Image Competition takes place the same day (see this link for details).

Collection of Prints: 10.00am
Judging Commences: 10.45am

SACC Region – Complete

The SACC qualifying round of 2013/2014 IPF National Nature Competition takes place on Sunday, January 26th at Amelian Theatre, Mallow, Co.Cork.
This competition is now live and accepting entries. Please visit SACC Website on this link for online entry and further details.

North East Region – Complete

The North East qualifying round of 2013/2014 IPF National Nature Competition takes place on Saturday, December 7th at St. Brigid’s Hall, Dunleer, Co. Louth.  Click on this link for directions.
This competition is now live and ready to accept entries from members of clubs affiliated with IPF in North East Region. Click below to go to competition website.
North East Regional Round Entry System
Schedule:
Closing date for entries: Midnight, Thursday December 5th
Handover of Images: 11am-12pm Saturday December 7th
Judging: 12pm Saturday December 7th

DSLR Region – Complete

The DSLR qualifying round of 2013/2014 IPF National Nature Competition takes place on Saturday, November 16th at Palmerstown Parish Centre, Lower Kenelsfort Road (opposite Palmerstown House Pub). Palmerstown Camera Club are hosting the event. This link on the Palmerstown website gives directions to the venue.
Closing date for entries to DSLR competition has been pushed out until midnight Friday, November 15th for both DSLR PPI & Nature Competitions

*Please note that in addition to the Nature competition, the DSLR qualifying round of the IPF National Print & Projected Image Competition will also take place at this event.  The rules for PPI are available here.
Schedule for Saturday 16th for DSLR PPI & Nature Competitions
10am-12pm: Handover of prints
Lunch & Judge Preview
2pm: Judging begins. Judging sequence as follows:
Nature Projected (Open, Theme & Natural World), PPI Projected (Open & Theme)
Nature Print (Open & Theme), PPI Colour Print (Open & Theme), PPI Monochrome Print (Open & Theme)
