Hi there…… am I missing something ?……3 days to go to closing date and no link yet to submit entry electronically ?……. it seems like the IPF is trying to make it more difficult for people to enter these competitions every year…..it should be the opposite !!…..why bother with last minute.com electronic entries when you still have to bring the prints down on the saturday anyway…..so when is the link going to be posted ?

Michael,
It is not up to the council to decide when to run the regional rounds of the PPI or nature competition.
It is up to the regional committee to decide when and how to run the regional rounds of the competitions.
However, online entry should be available within the next 24 hours and closing on Thursday evening, so there is 72 hours to get your entry form filled out online and submit your projected prints.
For more info, please contact the DSLR Committee (Martin Devlin of Palmerstown Camera Club)

I note that Feb 22nd has been set for the Print & Projected finals. However, there is still no word on the qualifying round for the western region. Can you enlighten me. Same goes for the Nature competi
tion. thank you.
Hi Marion,
Thanks for getting in touch. Please talk to your club committee and they will check with your regional organisers. Each region is responsible for organising & running its regional qualifying rounds.

Hi, a number of us are wondering when and where next distinction judging takes place.
Regards David

Well done to all the people who entered work at Mountmellick today. Hours of work, putting their hearts and souls into their photography. Not to mention the 1000s of euros spent on submission fees. Only to have the IPF provide 1 judge and no critique …….. poor
Lyndsey,
It is up to the region how they wish to organise their regional competition. Guidelines are provided to all regions on how to best the run competition.
We will raise your concerns with the regional coordinators.
