Ireland punches above its weight at FIAP Biennial

June 14, 2013 by Gerry Leave a Comment

We are very proud to announce that Ireland has claimed an Honourable Mention at the 27th  FIAP Projected Images Biennial competition in Luxembourg. Ireland placed 10th overall scoring 180 points. It was a close run competition with Belgium claiming the victory with 218 points.
A special congratulations to Morgan O’Neill for being awarded a coveted FIAP Silver Medal with his exceptional image – “Indian Kids“.

Ireland’s entry consisted of the 20 digital images shown below. Congratulations to each of the photographers; your continued creative excellence is putting this small island on the map in photographic circles. Our thanks also to the selection committee of Denis Whelan, Paul Stanley and Mark Sedgewick for all of their hard work.
