National Finals weekend

Along with schedules for this weekend you’ll find more details about what to expect from our sponsor stands including a printing presentation from Permajet Ambassador, Michael O’Sullivan FIPF, FRPS on Sunday afternoon.  Please note that the schedules are approximate only

Volunteers from Carlow Photographic Society will be hosting the finals of the Irish Photographic Federation’s Photographer and Nature Photographer of the Year 2020 in the Talbot Hotel, Carlow.  We ask you please support their raffle in recognition of all their hard work. 

IPF Nature Photographer of the Year 2020 with One Photographic

The Irish Photographic Federation’s Nature Photographer of the Year Competition 2020 is being held on Saturday, 22nd February. 

The Irish Photographic Federation would like to thank One Photographic for providing a €250 voucher to the overall winner of Nature Photographer of the Year.

IPF Photographer of the Year 2020 with Explore Light Workshops

The Irish Photographic Federation’s Photographer of the Year Competition 2020 is being held on Sunday, 23rd February. 

The Irish Photographic Federation would like to thank Explore Light Workshops for supporting the finals of Photographer of the Year 2020 and for providing a €250 voucher for the overall winner.

Canon Prize Draw 

Canon Ireland Prize Draw in association with Maher’s Photographic, Drogheda. 

Prize – Canon Mirrorless M50 camera.

Winner will be randomly selected from 190 entrants on the Sunday afternoon.  

Canon Stand 

Canon Ireland will have a ‘try before you buy’ stand on both days of the finals with Canon experts to answer all your questions. They’ll have camera bodies like the Canon 1D X Mark ii, Canon EOS R, and more with over 14 lenses to try. 

Camera Filters Ireland Stand 

The Irish Photographic Federation would like to thank Camera Filters Ireland for supporting the finals weekend and providing five €50 prize vouchers. 

Gareth will have a product stand on both days of the finals featuring amazing products like the Rollei Lion Rock with gimbal and the MagMod Magbeam Wildlife Speedlight Kit for nature photographers.  

Permajet in Association with Barker Photographic 

The Irish Photographic Federation would like to thank Permajet for providing four €50 prize vouchers for the finals. Paddy Barker of Barker Photographic, official supplier of Permajet inkjet papers and accessories, will have a stand at the Photographer of the Year finals on Sunday. 

Permajet Ambassador Michael O’Sullivan FIPF, FRPS in association with Barker Photographic, will give a presentation on printing on the Sunday afternoon and will be available to answer all your printing questions. 

The Irish Photography Podcast

The Irish Photographic Federation is looking forward to welcoming back Diarmuid and Darren of the Irish Photography Podcast. They will be making a show about the finals so please subscribe to the Irish Photography Podcast anywhere you get your podcasts.  They release a new show each week discussing all things photographic from an Irish perspective.
