Morning Lecture: Landscape Photography
Covering Landscape Photography using a digital SLR and focusing on issues relating to shooting landscape using a DSLR; this would include matters relating to lighting, weather, filters and of course HDR in its many forms. What Tony is essentially arguing is that landscape can be taken in any weather conditions, at any time of the day or year. The work featured will include images taken in the UK, Europe,America and of course the west coast of Ireland.

Afternoon Workshop: Enhancing landscape images using Photoshop
illustrate how to improve images and specifically landscape. This would start with something quite basic by merely improving the existing sky to dropping in entirely new ones using the excellent Refine Selection in CS5,but it will also show how various landscape can be plausibly moulded together. He will look at ways of creating simple and complex composites using the Blending mode and how to introduce a half-decent rainbow into landscape. There are of course numerous techniques in between. This workshop would also consider how to select the appropriate sky

Please also note that early booking for accommodation at the Creggan Court is advised for the weekend of the PPI event.  The hotel is charging the same rate as last year.  More details at http://www.creggancourt.com/
